Exhibition "Lilies 2019"

Gardening enthusiasts and lily admirers are invited to the Latvian Museum of Natural History to the annual lily exhibition.

The exhibition is organized in cooperation with lily breeders’ society “Lilium Balticum”. The exhibition of summer queens – lilies – has been hosted by the museum for more than 25 years, always bringing joy to visitors with the diverse flower colours, scents and shapes. Lilies are particularly favoured by gardeners because of their diversity of varieties in terms of blooming period – one can have flowering lilies almost for the entire summer. Adding to that the diverse colours and various options of plant height the lilies is  a great material to play with for landscaping the garden.
